Clio Recorder Extension (“the Extension”, “we”, “our”) is a Chrome browser extension designed to help users record browser activity or screen content for their own use.

Depending on how the user uses the Extension, the Extension may access or process the following information locally in the user's browser:

    The Extension may access the selected browser tab, window, or screen only when the user starts a recording or uses the Extension's recording feature.
  2. Browser activity related to the recording
    The Extension may process information necessary to perform the recording function, such as the currently selected tab or page being recorded.
  3. User preferences and settings
    The Extension may store settings such as recording preferences, UI settings, or feature preferences using Chrome local storage.
  4. Recorded files
    Recorded content may be generated on the user's own device. The Extension does not upload recorded files to our servers.

How We Use Information

Any information accessed by the Extension is used only to provide the Extension's user-facing features, including:

Data Security

Data Retention and Deletion

Users may delete Extension settings by removing the Extension from Chrome or clearing the Extension's local storage through browser settings.

Users may delete recorded files directly from their own device.
